Department Information
The Building Department is located in the Weston Town Hall Annex , 24 School Road. They are responsible for enforcing local and state building codes and regulations. They also issue all building permits.

The Building Inspector's hours are Monday - Thursday 9:00am - 4:30pm. His office hours are Monday - Thursday 9:00am - 11:30am or by appointment. He usually conducts inspections in the afternoon.
If you are making application for a sub-permit: (i.e. electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or oil/gas tank) you may do so any time Monday -Thursday between 9:00am and 4:30pm.
If you are making application for a building permit: hours are Monday - Thursday, 9:00am - 11 :30am. (Please see our "How to get a building permit" link for more information).
The Zoning Officer's hours are Monday - Thursday 9:00am - 4:30pm. His office hours are 9:00am - 12:00pm Monday - Thursday or by appointment. He usually conducts inspections in the afternoon.
The Conservation Officer's hours are Monday - Thursday 9:00am – 4:30pm.. His office hours are Monday - Thursday 9:00am - 12:30pm or by appointment. He usually conducts inspections in the afternoon.
The Westport-Weston Health District Officer is in the Weston Building Department every Wednesday from 10:30am - 12:30pm.
