America250 Art Exhibit Reception

This years Weston Commission for the Arts fine art exhibit is helping celebrate America’s 250th anniversary. The exhibit, with works by nearly 50 local artists, can be viewed at the Weston Library from July 3rd through the 31st.

“We are delighted by the outpouring of enthusiasm by so many talented professional artists and hobbyists from our community,” said Art Commission members Cindy Wagner and Nancy Klein. “The show is perfectly timed to compliment the commemoration of Independence Day and we hope neighbors and friends will stop by the Library and enjoy!”

A reception for the artists is being held in the Library’s Community Room on Wednesday, July 8th from 5:30 to 7:30pm. All are welcome.

In addition, professional artist Cindy Wagner is conducting two FREE classes in July. On Saturday July 11th from 1:30 to 3:30, youth over 8 years of age will expand their drawing skills using still life. On Saturday, July 18th, from 10:00 to noon, adults will have their opportunity for a still life class.

Registration is required. Classes will fill quickly. Visit:  https://www.cindywagnerart.com/general-5
