Exhibit Opening: Sarah Treadwell: Weston Mom, American Patriot

The Weston History & Culture Center in Weston, CT is hosting an opening reception for its new exhibit, "Sarah Treadwell: Connecticut Mom, American Patriot" on Saturday, May 9, 2026 from 2pm - 4pm. "Sarah Treadwell: Connecticut Mom, American Patriot" honors a local woman who supported her family’s active role during the American Revolution, highlighting the often-overlooked contributions of women during the period.

This exhibit is funded in part by a grant from CT Humanities and is in recognition of America’s 250th. This exhibit is curated by Mark Brennan, with research assistance from the Historical Society of Easton.
