Broadway Swings starring Weston’s own Kristen Hahn and Chris Coogan is back! This popular show is proudly sponsored by the Weston Commission for the Arts in partnership with Lachat Farm for performance on Saturday evening April 25. Admission is free (a cash bar opens at 6pm) and the show will begin at 7pm. Registration for this evening of Broadway and jazz standards will begin on Friday March 20 at 10a.m. Ticket link can be found on lachattownfarm.org.
A Weston native, Kristen Hahn got her professional start in the Westport Country Playhouse’s production of Our Town starring Paul Newman, which transferred to Broadway. Kristen’s more recent Broadway and National Tour credits include Floyd Collins at Lincoln Center, A Gentlemen’s Guide to Love and Murder and Hello, Dolly! She has also performed at regional theater around the country in productions of Guys and Dolls, The Importance of Being Earnest, and The 39 Steps.
Chris Coogan has played pop with Phoebe Snow, Donna Summers, Bette Midler and Darlene Love, and on Broadway with Paul Newman, Jim Naughton and Kelli O’Hara and has performed jazz with Randy Brecker, Sal Salvador and with his own Chris Coogan Quartet. The New York Times has called him a “masterful performer”.
The Weston Commission for the Arts provides a variety of arts and cultural experiences for the enrichment of the Weston community. We operate on allocation of town budget funds and collaborate with other entities and non-profits to provide cultural events that are free to the public. Programs include Movie Under the Stars, Master Class Series, Weston Connections Art Exhibition, Broadway Swings, musical evenings, the Annual Town Tree Lighting and Music Festival, and new this year, “Music on the Green”. - May 31, 2026 - “Music on the Green”: steel drum band- bring the family for festive music and food on the Town Hall lawn.
- July - August, 2026: Weston Connection Arts Exhibition -Weston Public Library: A juried, fine art exhibition featuring local artists. Also will feature art classes given by a professional artist.
