Three Towns Bus Tour

  • Date: 05/30/2026 10:00 AM

Fairfield Museum, Weston History & Culture Center, and Historical Society of Easton Partner for Special Bus Tour This Spring

The Fairfield Museum & History Center, in partnership with the Weston History & Culture Center and the Historical Society of Easton, is pleased to announce the Three Towns Bus Tour, taking place this spring. For the first time ever, all three organizations are collaborating on a remarkable experience to commemorate the upcoming anniversary of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
From its earliest days, Fairfield was a sprawling community, stretching from the Saugatuck River in the west to what is now Bridgeport’s Park Avenue in the east, and northward to the hills of Redding. Fairfield’s original boundaries encompassed a vast and dynamic region.
As the population grew and distant communities developed distinct identities, new towns gradually emerged. Redding, Westport, Weston, and Easton were all formed from land that was once part of Fairfield.

Join this special bus tour on Saturday, May 30, from 10 AM to 2 PM, to discover the unique stories of Fairfield, Weston, and Easton and explore the shared history that connects all three towns. Tickets are $80 per person. Space is limited, and advance registration is required.
To register, visit the Fairfield Museum website at fairfieldhistory.org. Following the tour, participants are invited to stay at the Fairfield Museum for the opening reception of its new exhibition, Happy Anniversary! Centenary Celebrations & Beyond.

The Three Towns Bus Tour is co-presented by the Weston History & Culture Center and the Historical Society of Easton.
