Seeking Artists for Weston Celebrates America250

Call for Artists! This year’s Annual Art Exhibit asks artists to explore our nation’s past, present and future.

Seeking Artists for Weston Celebrates America 250 Art Exhibit

With the nation’s 250th birthday upcoming in July, the Weston Commission for the Arts is asking artists to submit artwork that explores our nation’s past, present, and future.

This year’s art exhibit, titled Weston Celebrates America 250, could not be better timed!

Free and open to the public in the Weston Library Community Room from July 3rd to July 31st, the exhibit will enhance and compliment the special activities that are planned for the July 4th holiday.  A patriotic tailgating contest, bell ringing ceremony, old fashioned family sports/field day and picnic, and spectacular fireworks display, will be truly memorable experiences for the whole family.

Artists may submit up to three pieces.  Deadline for online submissions is May 31st.  Additional details regarding submission, dates for artwork to be delivered and picked up can be found at https://www.cindywagnerart.com/general-5

Also planned during the month-long exhibit is an art class for children, one for adults, and a Meet the Artists Reception on July 8th.  More information is available at https://www.cindywagnerart.com/general-5
