Milling and paving of Weston Road & Georgetown Road (State Route 57) will begin on Monday, June 22.
This work, being conducted by the Connecticut Department of Transportation, will take place in two phases:
- Phase 1: Weston Rd from the Westport town line to the intersection of Georgetown Rd & Old Mill Rd.
- Phase 2: Continues on Georgetown Rd from Old Mill Rd to Trails End Rd, scheduled for later this summer
Milling is scheduled to begin on June 22 and finish on or about June 29.
Paving will commence on July 9 and finish on or about July 24.
Work will take place Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Extensive traffic delays and some detours are anticipated.
Motorists are encouraged to seek alternative routes to avoid the area during construction.
