The Building Department is responsible for enforcing local and state building codes and regulations. They also issue all building permits.

Office hours are Monday - Thursday 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. or by appointment. The office is closed for lunch from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. We are closed on Fridays.
No permits are processed online and we only accept check or cash for permit fees. To get a permit fee, please call (203) 222-2658
